“SAG” Awards 2015

It seemed that some ladies took the “SAG” Awards to the extreme last night on the red carpet, cough cough, Jennifer Aniston!! Her boobs look like there is an invisible force field pushing them away from each other. Her hair and make-up were beautiful but the dress needed more support. Literally. Jen wasn’t alone in the forgotten bra department, there were some other offenders…

There were some truly awful dresses this year, ill fitting, creased, and some downright ugly! Thankfully there are the Globes and the SAGs carpets to walk down before the Oscars so the celebs can hopefully get it right, 3rd time lucky!

The cast of Orange is the New Black really went all out for the night and some really looked stunning – Danielle Brooks in a stunning navy gown, and I had to look twice to realise I was looking at Natasha Lyonne! However the rest of them really didn’t meet the mark.  See above and below, there’s creases, sagging boobs, ill fitting and unflattering dresses, its painful!

Lupita Nyong’o wore Elie Saab. There have been mixed reviews so far online, appears to be a Marmite dress! I’m still undecided as I always adore Elie Saab but just can’t decide if I like this or not. Lupita changed into a short version of the dress for the after party, cute idea but didn’t think the second dress was nearly dressy enough.

It wasn’t all awful though, Maria Menounos looked so elegant in her Ramona Keveza gown. Reese Witherspoon looked regal in her Giorgio Armani ivory fitted gown, simply stunning.  Modern Family’s Julie Bowen was also a winner in the dress stakes for me wearing Georges Hobeik. Sofia Vergara was ravishing in red by Donna Karen, very sexy, and she accessorised the dress perfectly… with her fiancé Joe Manganiello!!

Overall this SAG Red Carpet was seriously disappointing! Roll on Oscars!!
