Eliza & Ethan inspired weddings: Veronica

Veronica

This is the multiwrap Eliza & Ethan dress in Veronica. Your bridesmaids will love these dresses due to their versatility and they can be tied in many different ways to suit each bridesmaid’s body shape or unique styles.

As well as having your bridesmaids looking beautiful in this vibrant purple gown, here are some other ways to make Veronica purple a perfect addition to your colour scheme!

The Flowers:

When it comes to purple flowers, there is such a huge variety of different shades, sizes and shapes. Here are three of our favourites.

veronica anemone

Anemones are available all year round and are very unique. They often have a deeper centre and then fade in to a completely different shade. They really stand out and are a beautiful addition as the main flower of your bouquet.

veronica callalily

Calla Lilies are also available all year round. They are really vibrant in colour and match our Veronica dress to a tee!

veronica dahlias

Dahlias are only available in summer and autumn. They are a bigger flower so give bouquets a lot of colour.

The Cake:

If you want to simply add a couple of purple decorations to your cake, the first picture shows real dahlias and ribbons being used. The second picture shows a recent trend that has become really popular. It’s a ‘treat table’ where a selection of different desserts can be made available – perfect for those of your guests who have a sweet tooth. The third picture shows another popular wedding trend – the ombré wedding cake. This look can be achieved by simply making a few different batchs of buttercream, adding a tiny bit more purple food colouring to each one, and then piping from the darkest to the lightest colour buttercream starting from the bottom of the cake.

Decor DIY:

Instead of a guestbook..

With a guestbook, your guests will sign it, you’ll bring it home and you’ll probably look at it maybe once or twice again after your big day. Whereas if you opt for your guests to sign these little pieces of paper – they can become a part of your home, hanging on your wall. Similarly, if you didn’t want something so obviously attached to your wedding day – you can use ink and ask your guests to stamp their thumb print to make a tree with your guests prints as the leaves.

How to tie:

Finally, here is our tutorial video on how to tie your Eliza & Ethan dresses as pictured.
