Ladies in Red…
The multiwrap Eliza & Ethan dress in Ruby would be a vibrant addition to your big day. Your bridesmaids will love these dresses due to their versatility and they can tie them all differently to suit each individual. Plus – what’s more romantic than a deep, luxurious red?
As well as having your bridesmaids looking stunning in this romantic red gown, here’s some other ways to make ruby blue a perfect addition to your colour scheme!
The Flowers:
Red roses (the obvious one): You can’t really go wrong with classic red roses. They are timeless, traditional and most importantly, they are beautiful.
Red Ranunculus – Ranunculus come in a variety of colours but there’s something about red ranunculus that give them a vintage feel. Quite similar to roses but as they are silk flowers, they are more fragile.
Red Dahlias – if you’re looking for something out-of-the-traditional for your flowers but want to stick to your ruby red colour scheme, red dahlias are a more modern flower, quite summery but this deep red gives an elegant edge to them.
The Cake:
Red is an easy colour to incorporate into your cake design with sugar flowers or edible sugar ribbon. If you want a more traditional, white wedding cake, ‘red velvet’ is always a popular flavour and will add to your colour scheme.
Decor DIY:
Get the famous ‘Louboutin’ look on your wedding day. Why spend hundreds of euros on your shoes when you can perfect this glamourous look from the comfort of your own home!
What you need: Heels, red acrylic paint, paint brushes, masking tape, clear acrylic gloss coating.Simply use masking tape to protect the shoe, so tape everywhere except where you are painting. Paint using the red acrylic paint and then, once the paint dries, apply the clear acrylic gloss coating to hold the paint in place!
*This works best on heels that have a smooth sole.*
