A-listers hit the carpet with some simple yet elegant dresses, while new faces shocked us all with some wild and creative choices. The night was full of fun and fashion, something that we all love to watch!
The night was stolen by Disney favourite and singer, Selena Gomez, and Tay-Tay, as they both rocked two show stopping outfits. Taylor wore a red bandeau top and hot pink skirt by Atelier Versace, rocking the block trend seen on the cat walks. While Selena wore a navy glittery frock that showed some underarm skin and cleavage, showing more of her sexy side that she has exposed recently. The two friends posed together in a number of photos and definitely brought fun to the carpet! Selena’s dress was a little “Debsy” but it was age appropriate and hugged her in all the right places.
Black was definitely the color of the night! Some well known names took to a more simple yet elegant style on the night. Adele wore a long sleeved black sequined dress by Givenchy, making a gorgeous comeback to the red carpet. Carrie Underwood wore a stunning Nicolas Jebran gown with a high slit and a statement necklace to make the outfit. While Demi Lovato rocked an elegant black Norisol Ferrari gown, the gown had a suit effect that brought some sophistication to the carpet !
More big names brought fashion in all forms to the carpet on the night. Ariana Grande wore a stunning red, skin tight Romona Keveza gown, matching it with a glittery clutch and earrings. Ciara defiantly brought sexy to the carpet, wearing a black and white Alexandre Vauthier dress, showing a lot of skin!! The one and only Lady Gaga wore a stunning blue embroidered custom made Marc Jacobs Dress. The singer made a stunning Tribute to the late David Bowie at the awards bringing a tear to everyone’s eyes.
Justin Bieber hit the carpet with his little brother Jaxon making all the girls squeal even louder ! The pair wore black and white suits with dicky bows bringing a bit of old Hollywood glamour to the night.
There were a few new faces on the red carpet this year determined to stand out, unfortunately not really for the right reasons! Diamond white wore a sheer black dress with white embroidery, stunning detail but showing a bit more skin than we would like… While singer Manika wore a white body suit showing us way too much than we asked for, definitely not best dressed of the night! If you think that you’ve seen enough skin for one night you might want to turn away.. singer Joy Villa wore a risky statement piece with a mesh thong, definitely a different look!
As is custom at the Grammys there was a good share of HIDEOUS…. Z la la channeled her inner Cher and wore a black ensemble that appeared to have spider webs around it, and to top of the Gothic look she wore a giant black head piece! We said the night had a lot of fun in it… but did Cameroonian pop singer Dencia take fun to a whole new level? She wore a bright pink embellished jumpsuit and to top it off she wore matching embellished high heels! While Megan Nicole wore a poofy purple dress, a little to sweet for us which kind of resembled one of those childrens replica fairy costumes you can buy…. oh dear.
